From 42nd Street/Times Square to Canary Wharf, from Rockefeller Center to Frankfurt's MesseTurm, from Fenway Park to Wembley Stadium, our Real Estate group has been involved in transactions involving some of the world's most iconic structures, complex financings, and significant developments in the real estate sector.  We advise on a full range of real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, financings, development, joint ventures, restructurings and leasing of retail, industrial, office, hotel, resort, residential, timber and agricultural, recreational and mixed-use properties.  Our clients hail from across the globe and include buyers, sellers, investors, developers, sponsors, public and private funds, public agencies, tenants-in-common, general and limited partners, and preferred and subordinated equity investors.

The group also includes our Environmental practice, which works with clients on environmental regulations, environmental disclosure, and identifying and minimizing environmental risks in transactions.

For example:

We represented Wharton Properties in the negotiation and closing of a $326 million purchase of an office building with ground floor retail located at 530 Broadway, in the Soho neighborhood of New York City.

“Real estate is a very tangible area of the law – when I walk around New York City, I see in front of me many of the deals that we have completed. It is also a very diverse practice area that offers opportunities to work on multiple types of matters every day. Our clients are passionate about the real estate industry; they expect us to be as well – and we are.”
